| Abstract | : | This report describes how high schools perceive their surrounding communities, with a view to improving school education on community concerns. We base our analysis on official education policy and on National Curriculum Guidelines. Five aspects are highlighted. 1. Cooperation between high school and community based on educational policy. 2. Description of the course of study. 3. Community studies in school education. 4. Cooperation between high school and community in various foreign countries. 5. Community from an academic viewpoint. |
