This review is a summary of the geographical distribution and breeding sites of the mosquito \nspecies on four states: Yap, Chuuk, Pohnpei and Kosrae, the FSM. Major vectors for dengue fever and \ndengue hemorrhagic fever are Aedes aegypti and Ae. albopictus in urban areas of Southeast Asia and \nin the Western Pacific Resion. Aedes aegypti was collected on Pingelap Island (Pohnpei State) and on \nKosrae Island (Kosrae State), and it was the predominant species on Pingelap Island. Aedes albopictus was \ncollected on Weno Island (Chuuk State), Pohnpei Island and Kahlap Island (Mokil Atoll) (Pohnpei State), \nand on Kosrae Island (Kosrae State), and it was the predominant species on Kahlap Island and Kosrae \nIsland. Entomological investigations designated the native mosquito species, Ae. hensilli, as a vector of \nthe dengue virus on Yap Proper. Aedes hensilli was the predominant species on Yap Proper, Ulithi Atoll \n(Mogmog, Falarop, Asor and Fassarai Island) and Fais Island (Yap State) and Weno Island (Chuuk State), \nand it was also distributed on Romanum Island and Piis-Paneu Island (Chuuk State). Therefore, four states \nof the FSM seems to be highly dengue-sensitive. Environmental management programs are necessary to \nprevent or minimize vector propagation and human contact.","subitem_description_language":"en","subitem_description_type":"Other"}]},"item_6_publisher_23":{"attribute_name":"公開者・出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"鹿児島大学","subitem_publisher_language":"ja"},{"subitem_publisher":"Kagoshima University","subitem_publisher_language":"en"}]},"item_6_source_id_7":{"attribute_name":"ISSN","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"09160752","subitem_source_identifier_type":"PISSN"}]},"item_6_source_id_9":{"attribute_name":"NII書誌ID","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"AN10088628","subitem_source_identifier_type":"NCID"}]},"item_6_subject_15":{"attribute_name":"NDC","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_subject":"486","subitem_subject_scheme":"NDC"}]},"item_6_version_type_14":{"attribute_name":"著者版フラグ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_version_resource":"http://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85","subitem_version_type":"VoR"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Noda, Shinichi","creatorNameLang":"en"},{"creatorName":"ノダ, シンイチ","creatorNameLang":"ja-Kana"},{"creatorName":"野田, 伸一","creatorNameLang":"ja"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"106558","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2016-10-27"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"AN10088628_v34_n2_p117-127.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"448.3 kB"}],"format":"application/pdf","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"AN10088628_v34_n2_p117-127.pdf","objectType":"fulltext","url":"https://ir.kagoshima-u.ac.jp/record/1044/files/AN10088628_v34_n2_p117-127.pdf"},"version_id":"0f42cef0-f0ab-419f-8c9f-bc47d99aa607"}]},"item_keyword":{"attribute_name":"キーワード","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_subject":"Aedes aegypti","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"Aedes albopictus","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"Aedes hensilli","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"dengue fever","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"Federated States of Micronesia","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"mosquito fauna","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"eng"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"journal article","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"Mosquito fauna in the Federated States of Micronesia: a discussion of the vector species of the Dengue Virus","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"Mosquito fauna in the Federated States of Micronesia: a discussion of the vector species of the Dengue Virus","subitem_title_language":"en"}]},"item_type_id":"6","owner":"18","path":["5627","62"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"PubDate","attribute_value":"2014-04-17"},"publish_date":"2014-04-17","publish_status":"0","recid":"1044","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["Mosquito fauna in the Federated States of Micronesia: a discussion of the vector species of the Dengue Virus"],"weko_creator_id":"18","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2024-02-26T00:24:45.552101+00:00"}
