 note = {南西諸島地域では、熱帯果樹に対する需要が高まるとともに、種々の熱帯・亜熱帯果樹で商業栽培が行われるようになった。本地域は温暖で、ほとんど加温設備等を必要としないが、冬期の降雨や夏期の台風等のため、ビニールハウスなどの施設栽培が増加しつつある。しかし、本地域では冬期に日照量が減少するため、これを回避するための方策が必要であろう。また、現地調査として与論町に生育する果樹類等有用樹の調査を行った。, Various tropical and subtropical fruits are grown in fields or under greenhouses in Nansei Shoto area. It is graduatlly turning into commercial scale, however, the industry is facing major challenges, in particular, the typhoon in summer and the short duration of sunshine in winter, which are specific to the area. A survey on useful woody species such as fruit crops growining Yoron Island was carried out from 17-19 December 2003.},
