Natto No･ 8, a series of transaminases was demonstrated which produced aspartic acid. alanine andglutamic acid from some ketonic acids with asparagine doner. 2) These transaminases produced in Czapek's medium, as well as in Maassen's by Bac･ Natto No. 8.
3) Each transamination was affected by pH. Aspartic-alanine transamination chiefly was shown in weak alkali, but aspartic-glutamic acid transamination in weak acids.},
