Data sources are architectural journals published by The Architectural Institute of CHINA from the year 1955. Just after the revolution, the government aimed at a high level of housing development. The government supplied a bigger house than the people' needs in those days. At that time, the planning policy was ''he li she ji bu he li shi yong'' (合理設計不合理使用). Under this policy several families live in a single house. This idea is similar to the system in the USSR. During 1955, the government cut the unit cost of housing in half. Then the copy of the USSR policy and the planning policy ''he li she ji bu he li shi yong'' are criticized. At this time, they proposed a lower price and smaller size house in which only family would live. But, in this house 2~3 men sleep in one room. What is more, they wish to propose an even smaller size house. For this purpose, they take off the corridor in the house, and people pass through the rooms. This type of house which exist only in CHINA is called ''tao jian'' (套間).}, pages = {107--114}, title = {開放直後の住宅政策と住宅設計規範 : 中国の都市住宅に関する研究}, volume = {34}, year = {1992} }
