The equi-sized particles of silica sand and iron ore were used as the lighter and heavier materials of the bed in the experiments, respectively. Concerning the pressure drop and the degree of solids mixing, the following results were obtained; (1) A modification of an existing correlation for the pressure drop in mono-component particulate systems can be applied to mixtures of particles differing in density. (2) The downward flow of particles appears to be closely related to segregation phenomena.}, pages = {179--184}, title = {循環流動層の流動特性}, volume = {30}, year = {1988} }
