The geometric standard deviations of silica spheres obtained were smaller for the reaction system containing propyl alcohol as solvent than that containing ethyl alcohol as one. Particle size of silica spheres decreased with an increase in the againg temperature and with a decrease in the amount of morphological catalyst.
