In the tests the wind-velocity at the exit of a blow-hole as well as at the exit of the tunnel was measured and the ventilation efficiency of air was calculated. According to the results of the tests, the ventilation efficiency does not depend on the velocity of the train. Rather, it was found that the larger the number of cars becomes, the larger the ventilation efficiency becomes. On the other hand, it also increases slightly by the presence of a blow-hole.
