This hollow glass microsphere is called as \"Silas Balloon\". We investigated the conditions for production of Silas Balloon and producibility of it from some Shirasu produced in three districts, Furue, Iwagawa and Shibushi of Kagoshima Prefectrue.\nMoreover, a study was made of the electroless nickel plating on Silas Ballon and glass sheet.
