Therefore, upon cooperation of alumni reunion members, who are experienced health nurses, of this university, an attempt was adopted by the inductive approach in the outline of community health nursing. In this attempt, the students conducted interviews on the questions which they consider to be important to learn the quintessence of health nursing activities and the interview results were analyzed to understand ""health nurse spirit"" ""expertise of a health nurse"". In order to measure the effects, an anonymous survey was conducted after the final lecture of the course amongst 90 second-year students who took this course. The questions were: the change in themselves after taking the course (16 articles), influence factors (12 articles), useful content (14 articles) and 5 levels of response were used for answers.
