This study examined local community perceptions of forestlands, highlighting \nthe rising crisis of illegal logging, and government perception of forestlands, emphasizing the problems \nof the expansion of oil palm plantations and the increase in mining activity (Freeport Grasberg Company \nand Tablasupa Nickel Mining Company). “Political ecology,” which highlights the role of stakeholders, \nwas used as the theoretical framework for analysis of the illegal logging crisis, the expansion of oil palm \nplantations, and increased mining activity.\n  We found that illegal logging, expansion of oil palm plantations, and mining activity have led to forest \ndegradation, environmental damage, river pollution, land disputes, human rights violations, and economic \nmarginalization of local indigenous communities. In general, officers of non-governmental organizations \n(NGOs) and indigenous communities, such as the Amungme and Kamoro in the Jayawijaya Regency \nand the Muyu and Malind in Merauke, oppose the expansion of mining and oil palm plantations and are \noutraged by corporate forest and human rights violations.","subitem_description_language":"en","subitem_description_type":"Other"}]},"item_6_publisher_23":{"attribute_name":"公開者・出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"鹿児島大学","subitem_publisher_language":"ja"},{"subitem_publisher":"Kagoshima University","subitem_publisher_language":"en"}]},"item_6_source_id_7":{"attribute_name":"ISSN","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"09160752","subitem_source_identifier_type":"PISSN"}]},"item_6_source_id_9":{"attribute_name":"NII書誌ID","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"AN10088628","subitem_source_identifier_type":"NCID"}]},"item_6_subject_15":{"attribute_name":"NDC","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_subject":"651","subitem_subject_scheme":"NDC"}]},"item_6_version_type_14":{"attribute_name":"著者版フラグ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_version_resource":"http://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85","subitem_version_type":"VoR"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Hidayat, Herman","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"106888","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Yamamoto, Sota","creatorNameLang":"en"},{"creatorName":"ヤマモト, ソウタ","creatorNameLang":"ja-Kana"},{"creatorName":"山本, 宗立","creatorNameLang":"ja"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"106889","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2016-10-31"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"AN10088628_v34_n2_p71-98.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"674.9 kB"}],"format":"application/pdf","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"AN10088628_v34_n2_p71-98.pdf","objectType":"fulltext","url":"https://ir.kagoshima-u.ac.jp/record/11642/files/AN10088628_v34_n2_p71-98.pdf"},"version_id":"4044f145-c652-4f5e-89b4-7d4f2c19c09d"}]},"item_keyword":{"attribute_name":"キーワード","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_subject":"forestry sector","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"illegal timber trade","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"mining","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"palm oil","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"special autonomy","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"stakeholders","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"eng"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"journal article","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"Papua’s threatened forests: conflict of interest government versus local indigenous people","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"Papua’s threatened forests: conflict of interest government versus local indigenous people","subitem_title_language":"en"}]},"item_type_id":"6","owner":"18","path":["5627","62"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"PubDate","attribute_value":"2014-04-17"},"publish_date":"2014-04-17","publish_status":"0","recid":"11642","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["Papua’s threatened forests: conflict of interest government versus local indigenous people"],"weko_creator_id":"18","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2024-02-26T00:24:58.698024+00:00"}
