In this study, we surveyed sweet pepper fields in these areas to determine the density of root knot nematodes, taking into consideration the relationship between the density of root knot nematodes and the soil's physicochemical properties. Utilizing the Baerman funnel technique, the density of root knot nematodes was found to range from 4 to 5321 per 20grams of soil. the high-density fields in which the population density exceeds 1000 per 20grams of soil occupied about 48 percent of the surveyed fields. most of the fields surveyed can be classified as Sand-dune Regosol.
