The apparatus was composed of tanks, syphons, filters, and a submersible pump; and each of them were carefully arranged to form a circulating system. Prior to the fish culture, a preliminary test without fish and aeration was executed; and a conclusion was obtained that there was no O_2 dissolution into the system. The culturing test was carried out keeping a group of 25 Tilapia in each 200 1 tank, and D.O. values for each tank were recorded at 5:00 in every afternoon. In this experimental culture, D.O. values for each tank were significantly ordered. According to the conclusion from the preliminary test, the differences in D.O. value between each tank were considered to be caused by their own respiratory consumption.
