 note = {A single specimen of Takifugu oblongus (Tetraodontiformes: Tetraodontidae) was collected from off Kasasa, Kagoshima Prefecture, southern Kyushu, Japan at a depth of 10 m. It represents the first record of the species from Kagoshima Prefecture and only the third known record from Japanese coastal water since the first and second specimens were recorded from off Yamaguchi Prefecture in 2008 and 2009. Description of the Kagoshima specimen is provided., フグ科トラフグ属のタキフグ Takifugu oblongus が鹿児島県笠沙沖から1個体採集された．本標本はタキフグの鹿児島県からの初めての記録であり，日本沿岸海域では山口県萩市沖と長門市沖から採集された2標本に次いで3番目の記録となる．本研究では鹿児島県から採集された個体の形態学的特徴を記載した．},
