 note = {フィリピンにあるWHO西太平洋事務局、JICAフィリピン事務所の活動を実際に視察し、海外のにおける公衆衛生看護活動や離島・へき地における看護活動を学び、鹿児島県の健康課題である島嶼・へき地での災害対策や感染症対策を含めた保健活動を考察すること、そして、鹿児島大学の提携大学であるフィリピン大学看護学部との交流・実習施設の見学を通じて、英語で意見交換する力を高めることを目的に研修を行った。
　JICAフィリピン事務所およびWPROにおいて、各機関の目的および保健関連プロジェクトの説明を受け、グローバルな視点での問題解決の意義、すなわち、開発途上国の課題解決にむけての取り組みが日本を含む全世界の公衆衛生の向上につながることを学んだ。そして、開発途上国の人々自身で発展していくことができるように援助をしているという説明を受け、講義で学んだ公衆衛生看護の目的とも一致していることを確認した。
　フィリピン大学においては、看護学部全体のカリキュラムとCommunity Health Nursing教育に関する説明を受けるとともに、学内・大学病院の見学、学生との交流・意見交換を実施した。フィリピンでは看護師等医療職者不足が問題で、特に離島・へき地では深刻であり、鹿児島県と共通する課題を残した。, This is a report of the study trip of nursing students to the Philippines. We visited the Japan International Cooperation Agency(JICA)in the Philippines office and World Health Organization Western Pacific Region (WPRO). The purpose was to learn about the public health nursing practices abroad and nursing practices in islands and rural remote areas and to consider the public health issues in Kagoshima prefecture including disaster management and infectious disease measures in islands and remote areas. In addition, we visited Philippine University, which is an affiliated school with Kagoshima University, to interact with nursing students and to improve the discussion in English. We learned at JICA Philippine and WPRO by the lectures of the mission of these organizations and health projects, and we learned the significance of problem solving from a global perspective and the efforts towards solving the problems of developing countries and to improve the public health in the world including Japan. And they are helping people in the developing countries to improve themselves, and we confirmed that it is the same purpose of public health nursing which we learned in the lecture. At the University of the Philippines, we received an explanation about the curriculum of the nursing department and about the education of community health nursing, and visited the university hospital. After that we interacted with students and exchanged opinions. In the Philippines, lack of medical professionals such as nurses is a problem, especially in remote islands and remote areas, it is a serious problem, and we confirmed the issues common to Kagoshima prefecture.},
