The subjects were 50 students who had undergone “Rehabilitation nursing training” on the hospital ward for convalescent rehabilitation, and they were asked to describe “care services that they were able to provide as nurses”. Descriptions related to care were extracted and grouped into the following categories according to the similarities of their meanings: [specific care provided for individual patients based on their personalities to help them live a desired life], [care to maintain and improve the independence of patients], [care to promote patients’ personal development], and [care to help patients understand and accept the feelings of their families].
