Interview data were analyzed by Krippendorf’s content analysis. \nResults: The content analysis revealed 43 codes, 12 subcategories, and 2 categories. The categories were named [pain management] and [resourcefulness in daily life]. The [pain management] category included the following subcategories: [use of medicine], [grasp the situation of pain], and [methods to relieve pain]. The subcategory of [resourcefulness in daily life] included the following subcategories: [avoiding painful situations], [asking others for support], and [utilizing available tools and resources]. \nConclusion: Patients with rheumatoid arthritis must live with and cope with pain.
