A 15 session lecture was given to university students on the subject. The purpose of this study is to examine the learning process comparing 15 sessions with one single session.\nThe educational program included basic knowledge about HIV/AIDS, a component on sexuality, the psychological background of HIV-infected individuals, LGBT, and minority stress. In 2017, lectures on these contents were given over 15 sessions. Students were asked to write down their impressions at the end of each session. These were then analyzed using grounded theory. In 2018, a single session lecture was given on the same content and students were asked to write down their impressions. These were analyzed using the KJ method. In 2017, there were 20 student participants and in 2018 there were 38.\nStudents were familiar with sexual minority health issues and able to understand the relationship between HIV infection risk and minority stress. Therefore, there were able to reduce their prejudice towards HIV-infected individuals. Although they found it difficult to learn about the psychological background of HIV-infected individuals and sexual minorities, they worked hard on it. In the single session program, students were not able to reduce their prejudice towards HIV-infected individuals.
