This study compares and examines the descriptions of both using multilingual historical materials in Malay, English and Thai, and details the truth of the incident. The manuscript is divided into two parts because of the large amount of manuscript. The first half is described here.\nKedah is a port city-state on the Malay Peninsula and a Muslim state ruled by Sultan. However, it was one of several Malay port cities that paid tribute to the Siamese and Ayutthaya dynasties whose national policy was the principle of Buddhist rule. It is said that the period of Islamization and the beginning of tribute to Siam was probably the 15 century. The reason why Siam maintained Kedah as a tributary state was that this region, together with the Patani Kingdom on the east coast, was a base of East-West trade and an important trading network for Ayutthaya, a giant port city state. Nakhon Si Thammarat (Ligor) has been an important trading and military base since ancient times in the Malay peninsula of Siam, and played a role to supervise and monitor Malay tributary countries. King Taksin of Thonburi, who revived the Siamese dynasty after the fall of the Siamese Ayutthaya in 1768 by Burma, placed a family of Fujian Chinese merchants in Songkhla, with a view to reconstructing the country with an emphasis on the benefits of Chinese trade. Later, Rama I of the Ratanakosin dynasty restored the tributary relationship with Kedah and Patani, and promoted Songkhla to the same position as Nakhon Si Thammarat, emphasizing the trade income. As a result, they became rivals in trade and political strife within the Central Court of Siam. The dispute intensified over the rights to trade with a new port city, the British East India Company, based on Penang Island off the coast of Kedah.\nOn the other hand, by 1809, southern Thailand had been repeatedly attacked by Burma, and the Thalang port cities under the direct control of the central court suffered devastating damage. Noi, who took over as head of Nakhon Si Thammarat in 1811, ousted Songkhla, whose military power was inferior, and expanded his influence to include the cities of the Port of Thalang and Trang in search of trade rights leading to Penang. The most obvious interference is the occupation of Kedah. Nakhon Si Thammarat used the internal conflict of the Sultan family of Kedah to invade and occupy Kedah in 1821, and put it under direct control until 1842.
