Adams, 1855) は日本では東京湾以南に分布し，西太平洋沿岸に広く分布するフトヘナタリ科に属する雌雄異体の巻貝である．鹿児島市喜入町を流れる愛宕川河口干潟には，メヒルギやハマボウからなるマングローブ林が広がっており， ウミニナ科のウミニナBatillaria multiformis (Lischke, 1869) とフトヘナタリ科のフトヘナタリ，カワアイCerithidea djadjariensis (K.
