albicilla Linnaeus, 1758 は，熱帯太平洋から日本中部まで広く分布するアマオブネ科に属する草食性巻貝である． イボニシReishia clavigera (Küster, 1860) は， 北海道南部，男鹿半島以南に分布するアッキガイ科に属する肉食性巻貝である．従来の研究では，アマオブネにおいては野中・冨山（2000），竹ノ内・冨山（2003）によって，イボニシにおいては吉元・冨山（2014）などによって報告されてきたが，アマオブネについて成長線・潮汐輪の調査をした研究例は無い．本研究では，2 種の貝のサイズ頻度分布，アマオブネにおいては成長線・潮汐輪の調査を加えて行い，アマオブネとイボニシの生活史を明らかにすることを目的とした．\n調査は，鹿児島県鹿児島市桜島の袴腰海岸の潮間帯で行った．1914 年の大正噴火によって噴出した溶岩で形成された岩礁性及び転石性の潮間帯である．材料はアマオブネとイボニシの2 種の巻貝である．サイズ頻度分布調査では，桜島袴腰大正溶岩において，2017 年12 月から2018 年11月の期間に毎月1 回，大潮の干潮時に，潮間帯中部付近のアマオブネとイボニシを無作為に30 個体程度ずつ採集した．アマオブネの長軸長，短軸長（mm），イボニシの殻高，殻幅（mm）を，ノギスを用いて0.1 mm 単位まで計測し記録した．成長線・潮汐輪調査では，サイズ頻度分布調査で使用する30 個体のアマオブネの中から，毎月無作為に5 個体を選択し，殻を削り成長線及び潮汐輪の本数を調べた．殻を削るのにはグラインダ－（＃ 150）を使用し，殻の螺塔の反対側を砥石に押し付け殻の大きさが半分程度になるまで削った．グラインダ－使用後，＃ 600，＃ 1500 のガラス板上にそれぞれ＃ 600，#1500 の粉末酸化アルミニウムを水で延ばし，殻の断面をこすり研磨した．成長線・潮汐輪の観察には双眼実体顕微鏡，エオシン染色法とスンプ法を用いた．アマオブネ，イボニシ共に，サイズ頻度分布のヒストグラムは一山型となり，新規加入の個体群を示す双峰型のグラフにはならなかった．成長線・潮汐輪調査においては，エオシン染色法，スンプ法どちらにおいても，成長線・潮汐輪の本数を数えることはできなかった．双眼実体顕微鏡での観察では内部成長線を確認できたが，本数を数えることはできなかった．エオシン染色法での観察においては，肉眼では全く線が見えなかった．スンプ法での観察においては，所々に線を確認できたが本数を数えられるほど明瞭にスンプを取ることはできなかった．1 年間を通してアマオブネ，イボニシともにサイズ頻度分布に大きな変動がなかったため，新規加入時期の特定には至らなかった．このことから，新規加入は今年は無かった，もしくは，今回の調査場所外で行われている可能性が考えられる．両種とも潮間帯中部付近の海水のかからない場所で採取していたため，新規個体は両種とも潮間帯下部，もしくは水中に生息していたと推測可能である．アマオブネに関しては，成長線・潮汐輪のできる周期も不明であった．原因としては，アマオブネの殻が非常に硬く研磨が足りなかったことが挙げられる．","subitem_description_language":"ja","subitem_description_type":"Other"}]},"item_6_publisher_23":{"attribute_name":"公開者・出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"鹿児島県自然環境保全協会","subitem_publisher_language":"ja"}]},"item_6_rights_12":{"attribute_name":"権利","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_rights":"鹿児島県自然環境保全協会
