(Methods) A total of 339 nurses working in the abovementioned ward were asked to complete an anonymous self-administered questionnaire with a total of 22 items related to patients, families, physicians, and nurses on a four-point scale. (Results) We collected 211 responses (response rate 62.2%). Of the total participants, 43 had between one and four years of nursing experience, 89 had between four and ten years of experience, and 79 had over ten years of experience. Only 12 (6%) nurses correctly understood the meaning of the DNAR instructions. Furthermore, a total of 165 (78%) nurses faced a dilemma and felt that they lacked sufficient knowledge and skills for working with patients with a DNAR decision. (Conclusion) Many nurses misunderstand the meaning of DNAR and face a dilemma regarding it; therefore, it is important for them to acquire correct understanding of DNAR. This can be accomplished by holding training sessions and by helping them engage and care for patients.}, pages = {19--25}, title = {一般病棟看護師のDNAR 指示に対する捉え方と抱いているジレンマ}, volume = {31}, year = {2021} }
