The Safety Tariff is a new tariff on medical products and personal protective equipment and imported intermediate goods necessary for their production, and governments must import these goods by funding its tariff revenue. The analysis confirms that the Safety Tariff is a measure that can mitigate the decrease in consumption of personal protective equipment in the event of a pandemic through the effect of “increasing output” and “increasing government inventory.”},
