The investigation was carried out by administering a questionnaire to 209 visiting nurses at 52 home nursing stations for elderly persons in kagoshima. The results were as follows. 1. Factor analysis of the date revealed Three factors: 1) taking the lead in health care, 2) giving care in accordance with the intentions of a client, 3) cooperating with other health care workers. 2. These factors were divided into two clusters. One was taking the lead in health care and cooperating with other health care workers. The other was giving care in accordance with the intentions of a client.
