A web-based survey was conducted with 1,260 full-time employees (clerical and sales workers) registered with the survey monitor, who were both clerical and sales workers. The survey items included demographic attributes (sex, age, occupation, and position), role stressors, cognitive appraisals of danger (harm/loss, threat, and challenge), job satisfaction, labor productivity, workplace adaptation, and job performance. A mediation analysis examined whether a mediating variable intervened between the independent and dependent variables. The results of the mediation analysis showed that job satisfaction was positively affected by “secondary appraisal” in role stressors, the secondary appraisal was positively affected by “harm/loss” and “threat” and “challenge” in “role unclearly”, and “threat” and “challenge” in “role overload.” The secondary appraisal had a positive impact on labor productivity, “secondary appraisal” on the threat in “role overload”, and “secondary appraisal” on the challenge in “role overload”, while “harm/loss” and “threat” and “challenge” in “role unclearly”, and “threat” and “challenge” in “role overload” had a positive impact. Furthermore, workplace adaptation was positively affected by the secondary appraisal of role stressors.\nIn contrast, the secondary appraisal was positively affected by harm/loss, threat, and challenge in “role unclearly” and threat and challenge in “role overload.” Job performance was positively affected by the secondary appraisal of role stressors. Full-time employees engaged in clerical and sales duties increased job satisfaction, workplace adaptation, and job performance. In particular, they mediated their secondary appraisal of the association between job satisfaction, workplace adaptation, and job performance with cognitive appraisals of danger in “role unclearly”. Moreover, among job satisfaction, labor productivity, workplace adaptation, and job performance, mediating secondary appraisal increased job satisfaction, labor productivity, workplace adaptation, and 2023年11月13日から12月26日にかけてウェブ調査を実施した。調査項目は,性別と年齢,職種,職位,役割ストレッサーに対するストレス評価,役割ストレッサーに対する二次的評価,仕事満足度,Single-item Presenteeism Question 東大1 項目版,Utrecht Work Engagement Scale,新職業性ストレス簡易調査票における「職務の遂行」因子と「創造性の発揮」因子,「積極的な学習」因子を使用した。分析は,独立変数と従属変数との間を媒介変数が介在しているかについて検討する目的で媒介分析を行った。\n結果 調査対象者は,1,260名(男性548名,女性712名,平均年齢44.75(SD = 11.61)歳)であった。媒介分析の結果,仕事満足度は,役割ストレッサーにおける「二次的評価」が正の影響,二次的評価は,役割不明瞭における「害-喪失」と「脅威」,「挑戦」が正の影響,役割過負荷における「脅威」および「挑戦」が正の影響を与えていた。また,労働生産性は,役割過負荷における脅威に対する「二次的評価」,および,役割過負荷における挑戦に対する「二次的評価」が正の影響,二次的評価は,役割不明瞭における「害-喪失」と「脅威」,「挑戦」,役割過負荷における「脅威」および「挑戦」が正の影響を与えていた。さらに,職場適応は,役割ストレッサーにおける「二次的評価」が正の影響,二次的評価は,役割不明瞭における「害-喪失」と「脅威」,「挑戦」が正の影響,役割過負荷における「脅威」および「挑戦」が正の影響を与えていた。この他にも,Job Performance は,役割ストレッサーにおける「二次的評価」が正の影響,二次的評価は,役割不明瞭における「害-喪失」と「脅威」,「挑戦」が正の影響,役割過負荷における「脅威」および「挑戦」が正の影響を与えていた。\n結論 事務・販売の職務に従事する正社員は,仕事満足度と職場適応,Job Performance のうち,役割不明瞭におけるストレス評価との関連について,二次的評価を媒介することによって,仕事満足度と職場適応,Job Performance が高まっていた。また,仕事満足度と労働生産性,職場適応,Job Performance のうち,役割過負荷における脅威および挑戦との関連について,二次的評価を媒介することによって,仕事満足度と労働生産性,職場適応,Job Performance
