Natto No. 8, authors studied it by paperchromatography･ In the culture of this bacteria in Maassen's medium, following three reactons were confirmed. \n1. Aspartic acid ⇄ Glutamic acid\n2. Aspartic acid ⇄ Alanine\n3. Glutamic acid ⇄ Alanine\nAs to the transamination by Bac. Natto No･ 8, the following two reactions could also be observed.\n1. Asparagine → Glutamic acid or Alanine\n2.
