The displacement of the flexible tube immersed in a water must be measured with the probe in a non-contact condition. For that reason, a measuring instrument of the optical fiber type was used in this experiment. From the results of the average displacement characteristics, it was confirmed that the rate of drag reduction is adequate because the measured value is almost the same as the calculated value used in the previous paper.
