It is revealed from this research that there are sixty locations with water wheels for pounding gold ore, mainly in Makurazaki and Ibusuki cities. There are seventeen locations for rice-polishing or milling, eight for producing bone meal, seven for rice-polishing and producing bone meal, nine for driving mechanical dolls, and seven locations for driving bellows and others. The number of total locations of water wheels and turbines in this district is one hundred and fifteen.
