One is ordinary typed trawl net, the other is sea slater net.\nThe results obtained in this study are summarized as follows.\n(1) Distance from sea bottom on sea slater net were in the range of 10-33 cm, it was possible to\ncatch of fish.\n(2) Wing distance of sea slater net was about 10% wider than that of ordinary net, and then\nsea slater net were superior to ordinary net in the gear efficiency.\n(3) Comparing net resistance of two types of net, that of sea slater net was about 21-39%\nless than that of ordinary net. This fact estimated that it originated to decreasing bottom\nfriction by changing the form of ground rope.\n(4) The followings were obtained as an empirical equation within the limits of this experiment.
