 note = {The oceanographic observations were carried out in the southern region of the Hawaiian
Islands in May, 1983. The general features of the water masses are described by the
temperature-salinity curves at each stations obtained in oceanographic survey. The salinity
maximum water is found at a depth of about 150 m and the salinity minimum at a depth of
about 400m-500m. The temperature-salinity curves indicates the Eastern North Pacific
Central Water.},
