Characteristic curves of the survival rate were plotted after direct transfer from seawater to differently diluted seawater such as 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 or 30%. A singular curve where salinity was critical to each species was shown as a steep decline compared to one adjacent curve that corresponded to more concentrated saline.
