In the extract of pyloric appendage treated with 0.lM-NaCl or hot water, We confirmed pentose and desoxypentose as sugar components, adenine or hypoxanthine, uracil (or uracil and cytosin) as purin and pyrimidin derivativcs・ It was found that the color reaction ofsugars was faint in those samples which were stored for long times or heated for long hours.
