The condenser was filled with dry satulated 1 atm. stationary steam,and a brass condenser tube with an outside dia of 16mm and inside dia of 13mm was put horizontally into this steam. The velocity of cooling water inside was varied,and the outside condensation was resulted in the form of drops or film. And thus the heat transfer coefficients were measured and the results were compared with Nusselt's theoretical fbrmula and McAdams's experimental values.
