And, it is shown that the approximate solution obtained by applying the cosine Fourier series converges to the exact periodic solution of the equation, but that obtained by applying the sine Fourier series does not converges to the exact solution generally. Then we examine the condition where the approximate solution obtained by the sine Fourier series converges to the exact solution.
