In this study, to clarify which type is better as a biodiesel feedstock, the combustion characteristics of high oleic sunflower oil methyl ester (SfME-ho) and high linoleic sunflower oil methyl ester (SfME-hl) were investigated using a DI diesel engine. SfME-ho and SfME-hl have same thermal efficiency and similar exhaust emissions compared with rapeseed and soybean oil methyl esters. SfME-ho has lower pour point, shorter ignition delay and lower HC, CO and NOx emissions compared with SfME-hl. From the experimental results, it is concluded that SfME-ho is better alternative diesel fuel than SfME-hl.}, pages = {1--6}, title = {ヒマワリ油バイオディーゼルによる直噴式ディーゼル機関の燃焼特性}, volume = {53}, year = {2011} }
