Therefore, the phenomenon arises where the unit price for each 1m3 of the large diameter lumber of 30cm or more is cheaper than that of the diameter class 30cm or less at the tip end. It can be said that a use for the large diameter lumber of 30cm or more suitable for modern needs has yet to be established. This paper investigates the annual transition of the market transaction volume and price of diameter class. Also, lumber markets and three types sawmill which use large diameter cryptomeria lumber were examined, and the effective use of the lumber was considered. Of special mention is the appearance of new sawmills for average material lumbering that have started low-cost lumbering suitable for today's needs. This kind of lumbering provides artificial drying, mass production, and a stable supply in line with these changing needs. We were able to ascertain that the possibility of the effective use of large diameter cryptomeria lumber is increasing if only a little., 戦後拡大造林木の大径化が進む中, 末口径級30cm以下の丸太より30~34cm, 36cm上の大径材丸太の方が1m^3当たりの単価が安いという現象が生じている。その原因として30cm上大径材の現代のニーズに合った活用方法が確立されていないことが上げられる。そこで本稿では市場における径級別取扱量の経年推移と径級別価格の経年推移を整理した上で, 市場とスギ大径材需要者である3タイプの製材所を現地調査し, 有効利活用の方法について検討を行った。そのなかで特筆すべきは, 現代のニーズに合った低コスト製材(人工乾燥, 大量生産, 安定供給, ニーズにより変化する製品) を始めた並材製材新型の製材所の出現である。少しずつではあるが, スギ大径材有効利活用の可能性が高まりつつあることが確認できた。}, pages = {79--92}, title = {スギ大径材の有効利活用に関する研究}, volume = {37}, year = {2010} }
