FARM Co., Ltd. is a pioneer company of this kind of business. FARM started its first farm-park 16 years ago in Japan. Now it is operating 19 farm-parks, and 18 of them are in the black. This paper is a case study on the success story of FARM. Results of our research are as follows: First, the nature theme helps visitors to feel relaxed. Second, the location of a park is very important. FARM has constructed parks in mountain areas which are near to big cities with populations of over 1 million. FARM purchased land at low prices. Great scenic locations attract visitors. Third, by adopting a public-private partnership or KOUSETSU-MINEI (established by public sector, and operated by private sector), it became possible to cut down on initial investment costs sharply. Finally, with the entrance charge set at 1,000 yen or less per head, a family can have a good day out for about 10,000 yen. These factors are important to the growth of farm-parks.}, pages = {55--67}, title = {ファームパーク運営の実態 : 「株式会社ファーム」の事例分析}, volume = {55}, year = {} }
