経産牛の平均は6.1歳となり, 10歳以上の高齢牛は経産牛の9.3%を占めた.産次数は平均3.5産で, 経産牛のみでは4.0産となり, 7～11産の高産次牛は経産牛の14.8%を占めた.過去の牛を含めた全牛386頭の初産月齢は平均30.2ヵ月であった.計1,274例の分娩間隔は368日となり, 理想とされる1年1産を実現していた.この中には310日(分娩後約1ヵ月で受胎に相当)以内が190例も含まれた.月別分娩数は8月が多く, 10～12月が少なかった.新生子牛1,674例の性比は雄50.4%であった.双子分娩は1,618分娩中52例で3.2%の発生率となり, 初産次が最も少なく, 8産以上で増加した.双子の性別は雄-雄30.8%, 雌-雌13.5%, 雄-雌55.8%となり, 異性双子が過半を占めた.流産の発生率は6.8%と高く, 月別では6月をピークとする4～1月が高く, 2～3月は低かった.産次別発生に傾向はなかった.死産は1,650分娩中の14.1%に達し, 分娩看護の不良がうかがわれた.淘汰牛295例の理由は, 繁殖障害が33.9%と最多で, 乳房炎27.8%, 肢蹄疾患8.8%, 内科疾患5.4%, その他疾患2.7%, 経済的理由など21.4%となった.淘汰時の年齢は平均6.8歳, 産次は3.5産であった.本研究の結果, 巻牛繁殖による高い受胎率と分娩間隔の大幅な短縮は得られたが, 遅い初産月齢,
