The rate equation was obtained for each reaction: the oxidation of zinc sulfide by ferric iron, the oxidation of zinc sulfide by ferric iron and by the bacteria, the reductive dissolution of manganese dioxide by ferrous iron, and the simultaneous dissolution of zinc sulfide and manganese dioxide.
