A model shall with a height of 200mm, a diameter of 83.1mm and a thickness of 0.25mm was made of polyester film, and tests were conducted on a shaking table with a constant peak acceleration and measuring relative displacements of the shell to the table and strains in a circumferential direction of the shell. In addition to the linear responses which were theoretically predicted, various responses including super and sub-harmonic resonances were observed.
