Ltd. in March, 1981. We investigated the change of\nthe magnetic-compass-deviation with the hull prolongation construction work.\nThe value of the deviation coefficient C increased from plus 3 degrees to plus 10 degrees. The\nvalue of the deviation coefficient B decreased from plus 16 degrees to plus 14 degrees. But there\nwas no effect of the construction work upon the deviation coefficients D and E. And it seems that\npermanent magnetism of Nansei-maru was stabilized within about two or three months after the\nconstruction work.
