Among these hazards is likely to be collapses of the flanks of islands resulting from the steep angles, perhaps triggered by earthquakes. A study of oral traditions in the area, principally on the islands Ulawa, Makira and Maramasike (eastern Milaita), targeted those relating to islands alleged to have disappeared. The most widespread tradition refers to Teonimanu that probably slipped down the sides of the wall of the nearby Cape Johnson Trench. Another tradition refers to the Ta'aluapuala group that may have, by analogy with geophysical observations, sunk in the area off northeast Maramasike. Other traditions may refer mostly to low sand islands washed away by large waves. it is clear that the study of myths has much to contribute to an understanding and assessment of geohazards in parts of the Pacific like Solomon Islands.","subitem_description_language":"en","subitem_description_type":"Other"}]},"item_6_publisher_23":{"attribute_name":"公開者・出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"鹿児島大学","subitem_publisher_language":"ja"},{"subitem_publisher":"Kagoshima University","subitem_publisher_language":"en"}]},"item_6_source_id_7":{"attribute_name":"ISSN","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"09160752","subitem_source_identifier_type":"PISSN"}]},"item_6_source_id_9":{"attribute_name":"NII書誌ID","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"AN10088628","subitem_source_identifier_type":"NCID"}]},"item_6_subject_15":{"attribute_name":"NDC","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_subject":"455.732","subitem_subject_scheme":"NDC"}]},"item_6_version_type_14":{"attribute_name":"著者版フラグ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_version_resource":"http://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85","subitem_version_type":"VoR"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Nunn, Patrick D.","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Heorake, Tony","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Tegu, Esther","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Oloni, Bronwyn","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Simeon, Kellington","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Wini, Lysa","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Usuramo, Sereana","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Geraghty, Paul","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2016-10-28"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"04.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"3.6 MB"}],"format":"application/pdf","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"04.pdf","objectType":"fulltext","url":"https://ir.kagoshima-u.ac.jp/record/7406/files/04.pdf"},"version_id":"d383f270-7393-4b24-99ee-ef1781c761c1"}]},"item_keyword":{"attribute_name":"キーワード","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_subject":"geohazards","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"island flank collapse","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"myths","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"plate convergence","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"Solomon Islands","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"tsunami","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"eng"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"journal article","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"Geohazards Revealed by Myths in the Pacific: a Study of Islands That Have Disappeared in Solomon Islands","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"Geohazards Revealed by Myths in the Pacific: a Study of Islands That Have Disappeared in Solomon Islands","subitem_title_language":"en"}]},"item_type_id":"6","owner":"18","path":["5612","62"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"PubDate","attribute_value":"2010-10-07"},"publish_date":"2010-10-07","publish_status":"0","recid":"7406","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["Geohazards Revealed by Myths in the Pacific: a Study of Islands That Have Disappeared in Solomon Islands"],"weko_creator_id":"18","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2024-02-26T00:24:50.744396+00:00"}
