However,Shigo-east siden coral reef experienced extensive coral reef bleaching in the summer of 1998. More than 90% corals disappeared from the reef flat after the bleaching event. Ecological studies of the natural recovery of corals was carried out periodically at Shigo-east side mediolittoral zone from May 2003.},
