Now, the author simplified the problem and investigated theoretically the air velocity and pressure in front of and round a rod by moving it suddenly in the infinite horizontal pipe. And he introduced equations regarding the flow near the top of the rod as the adiabatic change and proved the fact that the results made by calculating the air pressure agreed with that of the water hammer theory. For reference, he compared the above results by adiabatic change with those regarding the pressure wave as a very weak shock wave. And the former was found to have been nearly agreeing with the latter. Finally, in this case, the model test was very difficult in view of the required equipment. Therefore he only made the theoretical analysis.}, pages = {1--4}, title = {棒を急に動かした場合の管内気流について(流れに断熱変化の関係を適用した理論解析)}, volume = {12}, year = {1970} }
