The falling dust was collected monthly together with rain water at eight locations in Kagoshima City. After the sample had been filtered, the residue was dried and weighed, and the filtrate was analyzed for SO_4^<2->, Cl^-, and water-soluble matter, as well as for pH. The average monthly falling dust at eight locations in Kagoshima City was 42g・m^<-2>・month^<-1>, which was by 13g・m^<-2>・month^<-1> higher than that observed in the last fiscal year 1993-1994. However, the value was much lower than that observed in the fiscal year 1992-1993. Thus, it appears that a trend of less falling dust has continued during these two years. The falling weight of water-soluble matter was less than that for the last fiscal year, also. NO_2 air pollution was measured by use of the “Filter-badge method".The highest value of NO_2 concentration was observed at Kagoshima City Hall; however, this figure still meets the value established as the national environmental standard.}, pages = {77--85}, title = {鹿児島市の大気汚染調査(第8報) : 平成6年度調査報告}, volume = {37}, year = {1995} }
