 note = {Bacterial isolates of Vibrio and Enterobacter isolated from the alimentary tract of gray mullet (Mugil cephalus), living in sea water and in fresh water were examined. Morphological and physiological recognizations of two predominant genera were subjected to calculate the similarity values. The data obtained in this study indicated that the isolates of Vibrio were similar to Vibrio anguillarum and the isolates of Enterobacter showed similarity to Enterobacter aerogenes. The characterist c features of these two isolates are presented.},
