Here we focus on social business internships, one branch of social business, while considering the historical background and overview of Japanese society. Using existing documents written by the non-profit organisation, ETIC, and interviewing a random sample of university students, we were able to ascertain the following facts: 1) Social business is a global trend and it is reflected in political policy. 2) Social business has spread throughout Japan.
