And mapping of soil characteristics in the Kakuto Basin were carried out to detect dominant producing areas of fine sediments. As a result of these observations,\nIt is clarified that the Hatsuki River basin, the most major branch of the upper Sendai River, is an area of a relatively high sediment production rate and that the southern part of Okuchi baisn is on a depositional trend.
