The genus Ruboralga (type species: S. jacksoniensis) is regarded as a junior synonym of Scorpaena. Scorpaena jacksoniensis Steindachner 1866, previously treated as a junior synonym of Scorpaena cardinalis Solander and Richardson 1842, is regarded here as a valid species. Scorpaena cookii Günther 1874, previously treated as a valid species, is regarded here as a junior synonym of S. cardinalis. Thus, recent recognition of the two Australasian scorpionfishes, i.e., S. cardinalis and S. cookii, are re-identified in this study as S. jacksoniensis and S. cardinalis, respectively. Scorpaena plebeia Solander 1842 is regarded as a junior synonym of S. cardinalis. Scorpaena jacksoniensis is distributed along the east coast of Australia from southern Queensland to eastern Victoria, whereas S. cardinalis occurs around northern New Zealand, the Kermadec Islands and offshore islands of the Tasman Sea. A neotype is designated for S. cardinalis. Morphological changes with growth in the two species are described in detail.","subitem_description_language":"en","subitem_description_type":"Other"}]},"item_6_publisher_23":{"attribute_name":"公開者・出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"日本魚類学会","subitem_publisher_language":"ja"},{"subitem_publisher":"The Ichthyological Society of Japan","subitem_publisher_language":"en"}]},"item_6_relation_11":{"attribute_name":"DOI","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_relation_type_id":{"subitem_relation_type_id_text":"https://doi.org/10.1007/s10228-011-0234-2","subitem_relation_type_select":"DOI"}}]},"item_6_source_id_9":{"attribute_name":"NII書誌ID","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"AA11077079","subitem_source_identifier_type":"NCID"}]},"item_6_subject_15":{"attribute_name":"NDC","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_subject":"487","subitem_subject_scheme":"NDC"}]},"item_6_version_type_14":{"attribute_name":"著者版フラグ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_version_resource":"http://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85","subitem_version_type":"VoR"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Motomura, Hiroyuki","creatorNameLang":"en"},{"creatorName":"本村, 浩之","creatorNameLang":"ja"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"111496","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Struthers, Carl D.","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"111497","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Mcgrouther, Mark A.","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"111498","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Stewart, Andrew L.","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"111499","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2016-10-28"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"2011_11_Scorpaena cardinalis complex.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"3.0 MB"}],"format":"application/pdf","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"2011_11_Scorpaena cardinalis complex.pdf","objectType":"fulltext","url":"https://ir.kagoshima-u.ac.jp/record/8744/files/2011_11_Scorpaena cardinalis complex.pdf"},"version_id":"47529e08-f8dc-4ff2-98b0-612dca0153f3"}]},"item_keyword":{"attribute_name":"キーワード","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_subject":"Ruboralga","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"Scorpaena jacksoniensis","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"Scorpaena cardinalis","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"Scorpaena cookii","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"Synonymy","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"eng"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"journal article","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"Validity of Scorpaena jacksoniensis and a redescription of S. cardinalis, a senior synonym of S. cookii (Scorpaeniformes: Scorpaenidae)","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"Validity of Scorpaena jacksoniensis and a redescription of S. cardinalis, a senior synonym of S. cookii (Scorpaeniformes: Scorpaenidae)","subitem_title_language":"en"}]},"item_type_id":"6","owner":"18","path":["118"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"PubDate","attribute_value":"2015-01-27"},"publish_date":"2015-01-27","publish_status":"0","recid":"8744","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["Validity of Scorpaena jacksoniensis and a redescription of S. cardinalis, a senior synonym of S. cookii (Scorpaeniformes: Scorpaenidae)"],"weko_creator_id":"18","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2024-02-26T00:39:36.979801+00:00"}
