Computed tomography revealed a full and dilated stomach. Upper gastrointestinal endoscopy revealed a large trichobezoar in the stomach. The trichobezoar was tenaciously wedged, making it difficult to remove endoscopically. Thus, laparotomy was performed by inserting a wound retractor through the skin and into the gastric wall. The trichobezoar was intracorporally cut into small pieces, which were separately removed. This procedure enabled us to prevent contamination of the abdominal cavity and wound margin. Thus, a wound retractor inserted into the gastric wall is useful for removing a trichobezoar.}, pages = {15--20}, title = {Wound retractor の胃内装着が有用であった巨大毛髪胃石の1例}, volume = {66}, year = {2014} }
